I created Public Sector Communicator to share my passion for excellence in government communication, along with ideas and inspiration for making our work more creative, meaningful and great! I'm always reading, listening to, and watching content about communication practices and the way we work (closet organisational psychology fan here!) and endlessly emailing myself links to things to consume later. I thought perhaps others may also be interested in some of what I find, so I whipped up this website and a monthly newsletter. If government social media is your particular thing, I created the @ausgovsocmed Twitter account and Government Social Media Daily website several years ago that you may like to check out, too.
If you're here it's because you're a fellow public servant and communication professional, or you have an interest in what we do. I'd love to connect with you through Twitter or LinkedIn, or you can send me a message using this contact form. Let me know what you think of the content and ideas I share, and feel free to suggest more or less of something! And I'm always on the hunt for examples of brilliant government communication campaigns, well-executed tactics, and high-performing team cultures and processes, so if that's your work please send those my way, too.
Thanks for stopping by, I'm excited to continue the conversation about our work as public sector communicators.
